When two trios become a quartet, music can only get better. Free Four is the name of this ensemble that beautifully summarizes the spirit of the jazz they offer.

Along standards by Ornette Coleman or Thelonious Monk, but also along tunes borrowed from Ligeti and Couperin, this quartet give themselves a lot of room to improvise. Delicate and subtle, saxophone or recorder, electric guitar, bass and drums build a world made of softness and dreams, interrupted here and there by more tense moments. As the music evolves, borders fall to leave space to imagination and poetry. Purifying but also invigorating, these Free Four  are an excellent tonic for both body and mind.
