There’s nothing like growing complicité! Ivan Paduart and Patrick Deltenre first started sharing the staged with their pinched and hit cords back in 1989. Ever since, they’ve developed a form of intuitive intelligence. Then, in 2025, they joined forces again with the “Inner Travels” project, with a wealth from their multiple experiences in jazz and song.
As testament, the sharp sense of melody they share, which comes out in fluid, clear, aerodynamics-like lines. While certain themes stick like songs, others reveal Chick Corea-like accents, or act as invitations to a joyous, or finely radiant, meditation. Far from showcasing virtuosity, Ivan Paduart and Patrick Deltenre place emotion at the heart of their music.
For this invitation into “Inner Travels”, the legendary duo have evolved into a quartet underlined by double bass and percussions. So, fasten your seatbelt, and get ready to take off…
