A collective anniversary to honor the past, value the present and rejoice about the future.

50 years of Belgian Jazz together

This collective anniversary is the culmination of what the last 50 years have been all about: shining a light on those who make Belgian jazz. A celebration that is first and foremost human, because les Lundis d’Hortense is a story written by many: “by and for musicians,” as we like to repeat.
An anniversary that will honor artists, and that will celebrate all those contributing to this project’s existence: the venues, the teams, the volunteers, our association members, and, of course, our audience.
An anniversary that mirrors the togetherness of these 50 years: full of discoveries, experiences and creativity.
This celebration is not an ending, but a crossing point.
An initiative to rejuvenate the image of jazz, make it attractive to young people.
A spotlight on our ongoing distribution and promotion work.
A promise to keep growing, enlarging our musical horizons, discovering new sounds, welcoming new music-lovers.
A way to say thank you to all the administrators, musicians, interns, partner venues and faithful audience.
Long live Belgian Jazz!
