The project is built upon a repertoire of entirely original compositions, where Vila explores the more rhythmic and groovy side of the genre, organically integrating soul and blues influences. The strength of this project lies in the natural chemistry between the four musicians and the solidity of the compositions. For this new artistic journey, the guitarist has assembled a lineup of exceptional musicians who provide a cohesive rhythm section: Maxime Moyaerts on organ and Umberto Odone on drums, both pivotal figures in the current Belgian jazz scene. The quartet is completed by the mastery of Steven Delannoye on tenor sax, whose unique musical language brings indisputable depth to this collective sound.
