The past years have been rich and hectic, crammed with a thousand things, and they’ve flown by at a crazy speed! After spending some time trying to run as fast as a thoroughbred, I sometimes feel like being a carousel pony instead.
I need what is essential, to breathe out deeply and let myself be inspired.
So it’s decided! I’m gathering my heart’s trio, and together we’re setting off to sail, never dropping anchor, on a comforting ocean of popular songs, the ones that settle into our collective unconscious.
Fewer notes for more resonance; less willpower for more surprise; less performance for more presence. We’re going to celebrate simplicity with melodies that won’t cost the planet a thing.
We will rehearse only in the intimacy of our thoughts, and we will travel exclusively by bicycle, from the Signal de Botrange to the North Sea, always going downhill.
We will drink only clear water or fermented potions, and we will speak little, except when the potions speak for us…
